Is ASAP a good fit for freelancers and sole traders?

Are small businesses affected by electronic invoicing?
Yes. France's e-invoicing reform applies to every business, including sole traders and VAT-exempt structures (franchise en base). From September 2026 you must be able to receive electronic invoices; the obligation to issue them rolls out progressively through 2027. With ASAP, your invoices are generated in the Factur-X format the reform expects.
Is a plain PDF enough for an electronic invoice?
No. An electronic invoice is not a PDF emailed across: it is a structured file (for example Factur-X, a PDF/A-3 carrying embedded XML data) that the administration can read automatically. ASAP generates that structured format for you.
Can ASAP automate reminders for unpaid invoices?
Yes. ASAP sends automatic invoice reminders on the cadence you define, until payment — cutting your late payments without you thinking about it.
Does ASAP replace an accountant?
No. ASAP handles your invoicing (quotes, invoices, reminders, e-invoicing compliance) and electronic signature, not your accounting or your tax and social filings. It works well alongside your accountant or accounting software.
